Colors that matter to buyers

Paint color is definitely one of the things that you need to consider when showing your house and opening it to buyers. Others can be picky and decide not to go with the house nor even take a second look at it, as soon as they see a color that’s off.

In order to avoid this incident, Credit.com highlighted 4 colors that buyers least like in a home

  • Dark brown
  • Slate gray
  • Eggshell or off-white
  • Terracotta

Getting too bold on colors can be a turn off for other buyers, colors like red, orange and some shades of green.

On the other hand, when you get the right balance of color combinations, then surely, it increases the chances of getting your house off the market in a shorter span of time. According to 2013 National Home Color Survey, fave combos include:

  • Slate and Black
  • Beige and Taupe
  • White and Gray
