December 5, 2015 – Liberty Pole Lighting 

Jump start your Christmas at the traditional Liberty Pole Lighting and Family Fun Day, happening at Liberty Pole Plaza at 4:30. Enjoy great music, people in costume characters and let your little ones meet the hero of the season, Santa Claus and get in the holiday spirit.

Rudolf and the other costumed characters will then follow for the Holiday Parade to the music of Prime Time Brass.

Holidays at the Market

Part of Rochester’s tradition every holiday season is putting up the Holidays at the market,

where you will find dozens of vendors selling, food, decorations, delicacies, crafts, last minute gift ideas and many many more. Worry no more if you ran out of time for shopping, visit the Holidays at the Market.

Breakfast with Santa

Looking for something to do with your little ones? Go have Breakfast with Santa viewing the polar bears and sea lions in the Rocky Coasts Gallery. With Santa, ready to hear your Christmas wish list, makes this an event to be remembered for years to come. Saturday Night Telescope Viewing at Strasenburgh Planetarium

Ever wonder what stars do during this time of the year? Visit the Rochester Museum & Science Center and enjoy a free Free telescope viewing is available Saturday nights from dark till about 10pm. Visit here for more details.

Polar Express Train Ride 

Read along with the story as the train makes its magical round-trip journey to the North Pole.

You’ll never be lonely this Christmas. Welcome and adopt your new best friend Joyful Rescues,
